With the beginning of the academic year of 2019-2020, Syrian students both local and refugees enrolled in safer schools of the Idlib and Aleppo countryside. Through its education projects, WATAN and its partners have worked towards providing formal education to approximately 20,000 students in WATAN schools throughout Turkey, Afrin and the Idlib countryside.

In addition, WATAN schools offer informal education services including catch up classes and tutorials, life skill services, as well as psychological support.
